Temezcali and Andean Offering
Connect with ancestral purification rituals and the spiritual world of the Andes.
Trip Overview
This full-day spiritual experience combines two powerful rituals: the Andean offering, known as “Despacho”, and the temazcal ceremony. The Andean offering is one of the most important rituals in Andean cosmology, performed to ask for permission and blessings from Pachamama, the Apus, and the universe. The temazcal ceremony, of Mesoamerican origin, is a traditional steam bath aimed at cleansing and renewing the body, mind, and spirit.
