Manu Rainforest
Adventure in one of the most biodiverse areas on Earth
Trip Overview
The Manu jungle is a protected natural area located in southeastern Peru, between the regions of Cusco and Madre de Dios. With an extension of more than 1.9 million hectares, it ranges from 300 m.a.s.l. in the Amazon to more than 4,000 m.a.s.l. in the Andes. This territory harbors one of the greatest biodiversities on the planet and preserves practically virgin areas. Oral tradition mentions that in its depths the mythical Paititi, the lost city of the Incas, could be found.
