This beautiful full-day hike takes place in the Pumawanka Valley, located in the Urubamba mountain range. It is an ideal experience for those seeking a deep connection with nature. The route follows an ancient Inca trail through high Andean ecosystems, forests, native plants, and rivers. During the tour, an enigmatic archaeological site is visited before reaching the high Andean community of Sutoc Paccha. Historically, this path was one of the most important routes of the Inca Empire, connecting the Andes with the Jungle.

Itinerary
We depart from Urubamba by private transport and transfer to Chupani.
Start of the hike, ascending through the Pumawanka Gorge (approx. 2 hours).
Arrival at the Inca Raqay archaeological site and subsequent walk to the high Andean community of Sutoc Paccha. Traditional offering with coca leaves.
We continue walking for one more hour to the waterfalls. Snack and rest time with spectacular views.
Start of the return descent.
Arrival in Chupani and transfer back to Urubamba.
